Airports in France:

    NICE AIRPORT

    Toulon

PROVENCE ALPES COTE D'AZUR/ NICE AIRPORT (Airport Code: NCE)

Nice is a very busy airport and the second airport of France just after Paris Roissy -Charles - de Gaule with over 10 million passengers in 2007. (3 million from low cost airlines).  We have always found Nice well connected with extensive links to the UK and Eire.
Nice has always been popular with Brits and is the capital of the French Riviera. Easy Jet and British Airways provide regular services to Nice.  A total of 15 UK and Irish airports are daily connected with Nice.
    Toulon

This city is in the middle of the French Riviera between the main cities such Nice and Marseille.  Toulon airport is not a big airport due to the proximity of such big metropolis, but is well located in the middle of the wild Provence.  Its quieter setting makes it popular with low cost airlines.
Toulon Hyeres International Airport( Airport code: TLN) is not as busy as Nice or Marseille with  about  700 000 passengers in 2008, but is convenient for people who are not heading into one of the main cities. If you are travelling to one of the main cities, do remember to factor in the costs of ground transport.
The low cost activity started recently with Ryanair with a flight to London but this flight is not daily in the winter season and London Stansted is the only connection with the UK through the winter.
