We went there!
PARIS 3RD district, rue des Rosier the Jewish quarter.
Paris is known for what it is one of the most glamorous city in the world
and the most visited to with over 10 million visitors every year from all over
the word, the Eiffel tower is the monument, the most visited as well with 7
million visitors, I guess when you visit Paris you don’t miss it!
With 20 districts and the surrounding, Paris is a city of 12 millions of habitants a little more than London witch population is calculated with greater London which gives the UK capital 7 million habitants.
Paris is full of diversity with people from different cultures who decided
one day to live there, each district is different and I would recommend you
this film made by various international film makers, little films in 10 minutes
each, the film Paris je t’aime!
The Jewish quarter is just next to the Gay quarter, the Marais and the
cohabitation doesn’t seem to create tension of any kind. Walking around, the smell of Jewish cuisine, the typical lay out of the Jewish boutique and
the atmosphere will make you feel in the middle of Tel Aviv or Jerusalem in
Israel, but don’t forget, you are in Paris.
Walking , religious are there to let you know the good words and principles
of their religion, if you are yourself of Jewish religion, you can still get in
30 minutes to relive your Bar Mitzvah
The ambiance is jovial in this quarter and I highly recommend to give a
visit and to see by yourself the huge contrast between the Jewish quarter and
the Gay one and the happiness and joie de vivre you feel while exploring
without thinking one minute of 20 years ago a car bomb broke the tranquillity for
a while of this peaceful area.
