A lot of people have done a cross channel day trip to the Hypermarkets of France, and so will be familiar with Carrefour and its products.  Near the airport in the town of Vecindario, there is a branch of this well known French Hypermarket, and in addition behind Marks & Spencer provides a British touch.  The main shopping center is dominated, by the Carrefour hypermarket, providing a one stop shopping experience for all those who are into strolling around big malls, with a good mix of international and localy branded stores.  The center does miss a major department store, however these can be found in the streets behind the center, with a good sized Marks & Spencer, and a mix of Spanish brands.  The prices in the Hypermarket are difficult to beat, so if you are looking to watch the pennies a bit, it does make for a good place to stock up on all the essentials a family could need, but our advise if you are looking to shop for more than just food, is not to neglect the Spanish shops behind the center, as these often offer better value.
