Heathrow worst for Queues: But the staff are polite about it.

International travellers have voted Heathrow the worst international airport for queues and baggage problems, but the best in the world for security.  According to the website WAYN.com (Where Are You Now) – a social networking site for travellers.  The survey also voted the airport the most likely to damage your luggage.  The news is not all bad though, with the airport coming top of the table for security and friendliness. The same suervey found that immigration officials in the USA are considered the rudest, with 31% travellers describing US passport control staff as the least polite.
"Simplify the form filling, generally be a lot more welcoming and better reflect the personality of the American people."
For passport control queues Heathrow came out bottom, followed by New York's Kennedy airport and Los Angeles
The shortest queues can apparently be found at Amsterdam Schiphol, Singapore Changi and Frankfurt International.
Amsterdam and Rome were considered to have the least thorough security.
