EASYJET: First anniversary for its base in Lyon

The EasyJet base of Lyon-Saint-Exupery has celebrating  its 1rst birthday on the 16th of April.

One year ago, the low cost airline created its new base in Lyon, since then it has grown to an expected figure of over 1 000 000 passengers departing or arriving in Lyon, with a total of 17 destinations, across domestic and Europe.

Despite the actual crisis, the results are very good for Easyjet for this new  base and is going ahead with the  creation of new lines to Olbia in Sardegna, Ibiza, ,Biarritz   in the French Basque country and Pisa in Italy,

Easyjet  is increasing flights to Bastia (Corsica) and announced the arrival of  a additional new Airbus A319 based in Lyon.

Easyjet  is  flying  from  Lyon to: Spain(Ibiza, Barcelona and Madrid)

To mainland France and Corsica (Bastia, Bordeaux, Biarritz,  and Toulouse)

To mainland Italy and Sardinia ( Olbia, Rome Ciampino, Pisa, Venice)

To Marrocco (Casablanca and Marrackesch)

To Portugal( Lisbon and Porto)

To the UK (London (Stanstead and Gatwick) )
